Each student has a unique financial circumstance and taking into consideration how unpredictable life is, at some point any one could find themselves in a crisis situation. During these times, the ULSU encourages students to remain enrolled by providing an avenue of relief through the Student Emergency Assistance application. The ULSU adheres to the following Policy when applications are submitted.
1. Emergency Financial Assistance is available to individual students with immediate financial need.
2. Individuals experiencing personal financial difficulty may apply for Emergency Financial Assistance to a maximum of five hundred dollars ($500.00).
3. Individuals may pick up an Emergency Financial Assistnce form at the ULSU office, rm SU180. Please proivide as much information as possible in the application.
4. The Executive Council has the authority to approve or deny approval for any Emergency Financial Assistance application.
Calgary and Edmonton campus students may fax their complete application to the Lethbridge campus. The fax number is 403-329-2224.
