Fresh Fest is an event run by the University of Lethbridge Students’ Union (ULSU) designed to bring the new body of students together, while welcoming back returning students. During Fresh Fest, students are exposed to several days of activities, events, and fun shenanigans to help build relationships, introduce students to the campus, and start the university experience off the right way.
Here are some of the exciting “fresh-tivities” that students will experience this year:
Fresh n’ Breezy Luau • September TBA
The Fresh n’ Breezy Luau is the official kickoff event for Fresh Fest. This is a BBQ featuring a 110 foot slip ‘n slide, an inflatable obstacle course and several other awesome activities in the University of Lethbridge Breezeway.
Fresh Flix • September TBA
Fresh Flix occurs following the conclusion of the Luau on the University Campus. Weather permitting, a movie will be shown on a giant 45’ X 30’ outdoor screen. Attendees will be able to watch a movie in a unique outdoorenvironment with fun and exciting games occurring before the start of the show. Location Southwest parking lot G on the hill.
The Lemon Party • September TBA
The Lemon Party is a high energy party that introduces first year students to their first University cabaret at the campus pub “The Zoo”. The event will feature a number of local DJ’s as well as a competition for the best costume.
Fresh U Jamboree • September TBA
This is Lethbridge’s biggest outdoor festival featuring 8+ hours of entertainment and live music. Over 1,400 students will be piling into the newly developed “Grove” green space complete with a beer garden and several vendors.
